Megan Keenberg
PRACTICE
Megan Keenberg was admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 2007 and joined the litigation department of TGF in 2009, after articling and practicing at a large national firm. Ms Keenberg maintains a general civil litigation practice, with a focus on commercial litigation including contract disputes, shareholders' and creditors' remedies, injunctive relief, fiduciary duties and professional liability.
She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal.
PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT
Ms Keenberg is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates' Society, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. She is also a member in good standing of the Screen Actors' Guild.
EDUCATION
After studying theatre and film in New York and Montreal, Ms Keenberg ultimately obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Ottawa, where she earned the Gold Medal for highest standing in her year. She went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, in 2006, where she earned distinctions for Trial Advocacy and Evidence, and where she served on the Executive Editorial Board of the Ottawa Law Review, a peer-reviewed, bilingual publication.
