Ronald Podolny

PRACTICE
Ron Podolny was admitted to the Bar of Ontario and joined the litigation department of TGF in 2009, after articling at a large national firm. Mr. Podolny's practice involves a broad range of matters in the areas of commercial and insolvency litigation, including contract disputes and shareholder remedies.

PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT
Mr. Podolny is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

EDUCATION
Mr. Podolny obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from York University. He graduated with a Bronze Medal from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, in 2008, where he earned the Blakes Scholar Award, the McCarthy Tétrault Leadership Award, the McCarthy Tétrault Award for academic standing and the Legal and Literary Society Student Honour Award, in addition to a number of subject matter prizes. Ron has assisted two professors in teaching Torts and Property as a Dean’s Fellow.

Ron has authored and co-authored a number of articles in securities, insolvency and corporate governance law.
