Bio
Brendan is a commercial litigator with experience in complex contractual disputes, insolvency proceedings, shareholder litigation, and auditor and professional negligence claims. He has appeared as counsel before the Superior Court, the Commercial List, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Prior to joining TGF, Brendan practiced in New York at a leading international law firm and at a litigation firm in Toronto. Brendan draws on this experience to provide clients with insightful and practical advice for resolving their legal issues.
Brendan studied law at the University of Toronto and spent a semester on exchange in France studying international law at the Université Jean Moulin. Before law school, Brendan was a case officer at the Competition Bureau, where he worked on several cases before the Competition Tribunal. He also worked as a consultant at a professional services firm in London, England.
Brendan supports the community by maintaining an active pro bono practice. He is a regular volunteer for the Pro Bono Ontario legal services hotline and represents consumers who have been victims of misleading door-to-door sales tactics.
