Bio
Marco is a member of TGF’s Restructuring and Litigation groups. Marco started his career with TGF as an articling student, where he first gained exposure to restructuring and litigation matters. As an approachable and collaborative lawyer, Marco has built on that foundation and become a valuable member of the team in delivering exceptional service to the firm’s clients.
Within TGF’s restructuring and insolvency team, Marco has been involved in a variety of matters, representing debtors and court-appointed officers in restructuring mandates across several industries. Marco also has experience in litigation and arbitration matters, with a particular focus on infrastructure and construction mandates, including P3 projects.
While attending law school, Marco developed his debating skills and represented the University of Birmingham at the 2018 Birmingham Law Society debating competition, in which his team finished second overall. In addition to winning an academic award for professional development, Marco volunteered at his law school’s pro bono clinic. As part of his undergraduate degree, Marco interned with Canada’s federal Department of Justice in their Tax Law Services division where he was involved in several complex tax litigation files.

As an associate at TGF, Marco has been part of a team representing clients in the following matters:
- Canadian counsel to B. Riley Farber Inc., the court-appointed monitor of Lighthouse Immersive Inc. and Lighthouse Immersive U.S.A., Inc. in their proceedings under the CCAA and Chapter 15 in Delaware.
- Counsel to Ernst & Young Inc., in connection with the liquidation of the Carillion Canada Group under the CCAA.
- Counsel to Ernst & Young Inc. as court-appointed monitor of The Flowr Company and its affiliates pursuant to the CCAA.
