Bio

Megan is an experienced law clerk and a licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario, with over 13 years of expertise in a wide range of legal areas, including commercial litigation, regulatory and professional discipline matters, family law, securities and franchise litigation, and trust and estate litigation. Her comprehensive understanding of these fields is complemented by her ability to effectively manage complex legal files, utilizing advanced project management principles and e-discovery tools such as Relativity, IPro Eclipse, and DISCO.

Megan’s experience spans several courts, from Small Claims Court to the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as various tribunals and provincially regulated administrative governing bodies, including the Law Society of Ontario and professions under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA). This breadth of experience showcases Megan’s versatility and depth of knowledge in the legal landscape.

Holding both a Law Clerk Diploma and a Paralegal Diploma from St. Clair College, Megan is committed to continuous learning and professional development. She is a member of several industry organizations, including The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), and Women in E-Discovery, where she also serves as the Director of Memberships for the 2023/2024 Board.

Megan’s passion for the legal field is matched by her dedication to empowering others, as demonstrated in her speaking engagement at the Master’s Conference 2023, where she presented on “Connecting and Empowering Women for Success through WiE.” She is also certified in Legal Project Management through LawVision, further emphasizing her commitment to excellence in legal project management.

Currently, Megan plays a key role in providing traditional law clerk duties, supporting on e-discovery matters and implementing project management processes and procedures for TGF’s Litigation team. Fluent in English and actively learning French, she is continually seeking opportunities to enhance her skills and make meaningful impactful contributions to her field.
